Frequently Asked Questions
What is TDAE?
TDAE (Treated Distillate Aromatic Extract) is a low-PAH rubber process oil produced by solvent extraction of distillate aromatic extracts. It replaced high-PAH DAE in Europe following the 2005 ban on carcinogenic PAH extender oils in tyres.
Is TDAE EU REACH compliant?
Yes — TDAE complies with EU Directive 2005/69/EC. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) content is below 3 mg/kg as measured by IP 346, the regulatory threshold for tyre extender oils sold in the EU.
What is the difference between TDAE, RAE and DAE?
DAE (high PAH) is banned in EU tyres. RAE (Residual Aromatic Extract) and TDAE are both compliant low-PAH alternatives — TDAE is produced by solvent extraction and is more widely available across Asia.
What packaging is available?
Flexibag (20–24 MT), IBC totes (1,000 L), ISO tank (22 MT) and bulk vessel parcels. CIF and DAP delivery to regional ports.
